Two men from Muswell Hill were taken to hospital after they were attacked on New Year’s Day.
The 22-year-old and 21-year-old where assaulted as they walked through Muswell Hill road after celebrating the New Year.
While on their way home the two men were approached by a group of six black males.
They were asked for a cigarette lighter but did not have one and at this point they were assaulted by the group.
Both men received hospital treatment for facial injuries and bruising.
