A man who was charged with the murder of a suspected gang boss has been ordered to reappear at the Old Bailey in April.
Omer Murat, 27, has been accused of killing Ali Armagan, 32, on February 1, 2012.
He appeared in custody at the Central Criminal Court this morning and was ordered to reappear on April 4 to enter his plea.
The 27-year-old, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on Tuesday, January 14.
He was arrested at St Pancras Station after returning on a train from France and will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court later today.
Mr Armagan was shot at close range as he sat in an Audi A8 car in Langham Parade, near Turnpike Lane station.
Three men have already been sentenced after they pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with the murder of Mr Armagan.
