Children in Haringey will be given greater access to sport thanks to a £2,000 grant.
The borough has been handed a chunk of £45,000 being distributed across 19 boroughs providing free taster session and professional coaching and equipment in 20 sports.
In Haringey, the money will be spent on providing sports including handball, rugby, table tennis, trampolining and swimming for an estimated 1,500 children.
The cash has been donated by the Balfour Beatty Sports Development Grant with Capital FM’s Help a Capital Child scheme.
