A charity pop-up shop will raise money to help support the fight against heart disease when it opens at a Wood Green shopping centre tomorrow.

Volunteers from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) will be setting up inside The Mall, in High Road, between 11am and 4pm on Thursday and Friday this week.

The charity will be using clothes, shoes, bags, books and CDs to demonstrate the range of items it sells in its shops nationwide and recruit more volunteers for its Wood Green shop in High Road.

Area manager Richard Fletcher said: “We hope to make even more Wood Green residents aware of the fantastic and unique items available at the BHF shop, which helps to raise funds for BHF’s invaluable work.

“We’re always in need of stock, so if you’re having a clear out, join the fight for every heartbeat today and help fund life-saving research with your donations.”
