People who want to vote by post or proxy in next month’s local and European elections are being urged to apply now to Haringey Borough Council.

Polling day in Haringey is Thursday, May 22, with all 57 seats in 19 wards across the council up for election, along with the London Region constituency in the European Parliament.

Residents who cannot get to a polling station on election day can either apply for a postal vote or appoint someone to vote in person on their behalf by proxy vote.

Postal vote applications forms must be returned to the council by Wednesday, May 7, while new applications for proxy voting must be received by Wednesday, May 14.

If your nominated proxy will be away on election day, they can also apply for your ballot paper to be posted to them.
