Tech savvy volunteers teamed up with people who live in Haringey Borough Council owned houses to get more people using computers and the internet.
Council tenants were shown how to get online on Thursday, April 3, as part of national Spring Online Week.
Sessions were held throughout the week at Homes for Haringey’s Off-Road hub in Northumberland Park.
Esther Tue, of Cranley Dene Court, Muswell Hill, said: “It’s been a fantastic day. I have learnt how to send a text message and I also sent my very first email to my daughter who lives in Dubai.”
Volunteer Vanessa Logan, 26, said: “I have really enjoyed helping residents to learn new skills.
“Today I helped a resident who had never used a computer before. It was really great to see his confidence grow throughout the day.”
