Finsbury Park toilets to get make-over after vandalism

The public toilets in Finsbury Park are set to be repainted and repaired following recent bouts of vandalism.

The toilets will also undergo increased cleaning over the summer period.

Lewis Taylor, parks operations manager at Haringey Council, responded to a letter sent by Cllr Karen Alexander setting out complaints by Finsbury Park residents.

He said: "It is of course unfortunate when some small sections of the community can affect the enjoyment of genuine park users, however, we are confident that these occurrences are isolated to the greater degree and we are constantly working with the police and various support agencies to tackle these issues."
