EastEnders star Ben Hardy will be running the Crouch End 10K fun run later this month to raise money for a Haringey charity.

The actor, who portrays the character Peter Beale in the hit BBC soap, will be raising money for Haringey Shed, an inclusive theatre company based in Pretoria Road, Tottenham.

Hardy will be posing for pictures with fans before setting off from Priory Park at 9.30am on Sunday, May 18, and is hoping to complete the distance in 45 minutes or less.

Describing the charity, he said: “It is a fantastic cause, offering children of all abilities or in fact disabilities, the opportunity to share in the excitement of creating theatre.”

A number of charities are being represented at the event, and a number of stalls, food , music , rides and attractions will provide entertainment for visitors.
