Spurs fans have voted in favour of being able to stand when watching matches.
Supporters voted in favour of standing accommodation in the new stadium in a survey carried out by Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST).
Almost all - 97 per cent of the 2,306 respondents - said they were in favour of giving fans the choice to stand at games and 94 per cent want to see a designated safe standing area at White Hart Lane or any future stadium.
Fans are not currently allowed to stand at matches by ground regulations, and clubs are prevented from providing standing areas by government legislation.
Standing accommodation is currently in place in stadiums in Germany, Sweden, and Austria.
