Daniel Levy told Spurs fans that the club needs a manager who “believes in our football philosophy”.
Levy, talking to Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust on Tuesday, said the club needed someone who would bring the best out of experienced players as well as bringing through younger players.
He added that the managerial tenure at Spurs was “not out of kilter” with most top flight clubs.
