The Antwerp Arms Association has just one day left to raise £30,000 to buy the Antwerp Arms.

The group, which raised over £20,000 at a "pledge party" this Sunday, has been backed by both Tottenham MP David Lammy and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust.

Trust board memeber Ellie Kershaw said: "It’s the oldest pub in Tottenham and it would be a disaster if it didn’t survive.”

Ashley Grey, who lives just behind the pub at Prospect Place, said: "The pub isn’t perfect, but it’s all we’ve got. It’s been there since 1830. In summer it’s the Tottenham Riviera and in the winter it’s a beacon of light, keeping the area safe and warm.”

Shares in the pub can be bought on the group’s microgenius page.
