Residents of Ringslade Road were left exasperated as another HGV got stuck on their street yesterday evening.

The lorry is the the second to be trapped on the road in three days.

Residents, who are campaigning to stop the 'rat run' through their street, have accused the council of not properly enforcing fines for vehicles of more than 7.5 tonnes using the road.

The council says it is investigating the issue.

The "investigation" shouldn't take too long. The highways department is on the 2nd floor of Haringey HQ.

When the "investigation" is complete, will the council make the report public?
