A man with learning difficulties was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The victim, aged 38, was approached by two men near the Animal Shelter in Lordship Lane before being hit over the head and kicked.
The attackers stole his mobile phone and ran away towards Wood Green High Road.
The victim was taken to a north London hospital suffering from swelling to the face and broken ribs.
