Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened with a knife and attacked with a baseball bat in Tottenham.
The man, aged 36, was sitting with friends in the seating area of the Lordship recreation ground on Saturday night when the group was approached by a gang of six to ten teenagers, aged between 16 and 18.
One of the youths pulled out a silver knife from his waistband and made a stabbing motion towards the man, who was then hit on the head with a baseball bat by a second youth.
London Ambulance Service were called at 8.30pm and took the injured man to hospital to be treated for a head injury.
A second man, aged 42, was also injured in the attack.
One of the suspects was wearing a dark coloured hat and grey tracksuit at the time.
