A South Tottenham man accused of possessing extreme pornographic images of live animals has been sent for trial at a Crown Court in Essex.
Lee Morris, 36, of Seven Sisters Road, was originally arrested by Essex Police last month for conspiring to steal motor vehicles up to the value of £600,000 from across the county.
While in custody, Mr Morris’s phone was confiscated and police discovered three extreme pornographic images stored on it.
Mr Morris, a mechanic, possessed obscene pictures of a chicken, a cow, and a dog.
Mr Morris was charged with three offences of possessing “extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse which was grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character” after appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court yesterday.
He will enter a plea at Chelmsford Crown Court on August 26.
