A vicar has made it onto the Queen's Birthday Honours list for his community work.
Rev John Wood, vicar at St Ann’s church in South Tottenham, will be made an MBE in recognition of his work with local charities.
Rev Wood, 55, has built a range succesful community groups as director of the charity Hope In Tottenham, including a schools counselling programme.
He has also undertaken youth work and worked to promote community-police engagement.
Rev Wood has worked at the church in Avenue Road for 20 years.
