Police name man arrested in Markfield Park attack

The man charged with assault in a Tottenham park has been named by police.

Jaroslaw Kwidzinski, 22, of Woodfield Lane, Ashtead, Surrey, has been charged with racially aggravated common assault, religiously aggravated common assault, and common assault.

The arrest took place at approximately 9.10pm on Saturday after police were called to a disturbance in Markfield Recreation Ground.

Mr Kwidzinski, a Polish national, has been bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on July 14.

Nobody has yet been arrested in connection with a separate incident - the stabbing of a 24-year-old man.
