Public sector workers from across the borough have joined a nationwide strike today.
Carers, social workers, refuse collectors, street cleaners, teaching assistants and teachers have picketed major buildings in protest at pay freezes and high living costs.
Haringey UNISON branch secretary Sean Fox said: “Taking strike action is never easy but our members are sending a clear message to the Government that they have had enough.”
