A man given the nickname of Hollywood psychopath Freddy Krueger has been found guilty of murder.
Jamie Marsh-Smith, named after the Nightmare on Elm Street character, was convicted of shooting dead a Tottenham gang boss before trying to kill his own getaway driver.
Marsh-Smith, 22, shot 34-year-old Tottenham Boys member Zafer Eren in the back on his Southgate doorstep on April 18, 2013.
He then tried to kill his own accomplice, 21-year-old Samuel Zerei, by shooting him in Markfield Park.
Marsh-Smith was found guilty by a majority verdict of ten to two at the Old Bailey yesterday.
