An award-winning children’s illustrator has launched the borough’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Jackie Morris, winner of the Welsh Book Council’s Best English Book of the Year, read from her book Tell Me a Dragon to children in Hornsey Library last week.

Pupils will be set the task of reading six books over the summer and will win a prize for completing the task.

‘Mythical Maze’ themed activities will be taking place in libraries throughout July and August to accompany the challenge.
