An “inclusive” theatre company has been named charity of the year by a supermarket.
Sainsbury’s in Muswell Hill has chosen to fundraise for Haringey Shed, a Tottenham-based performing arts organisation for children and young.
The group, which aims to proved activities for people “regardless of ability or disability”, will use the money raised to pay for equipment.
Jim Shepley, executive director of Haringey Shed, said: “It’s great that Sainsbury’s Muswell Hill is supporting local community projects such as ours, this will make a real difference to the work we do.”
