Haringey Council has announced plans to resurface a major road through the borough.

Work will take place on a stretch of Green Lanes from Frobisher Road to Williamson Road and Endymion Road to the borough boundary - where the New River crosses under the road - from Monday until Sunday August 31.

talk about bad scheduling! The refurbishment work, which is causing great inconvenience around Turnpike Lane is scheduled to last the rest of the year at least(official) Traffic, normally bad on GL is horrific. I get a tube from TL to Manor House and pick up the bus there! now we will have more awful congestion. Why do these works take so long?
