An aspiring presenter has joined a new television series as a news reporter.

Hope Lanek, 25, of Enfield, will be part of the seventh series of London360, on the Community Channel.

The series is presented by 18 to 25 year olds, telling stories through the eyes of young Londoners.

The scheme is run by national charity Media Trust and aims to give young people from a diverse range of backgrounds the opportunity to learn new skills.

Ms Lanek said: “I’ve been looking for a scheme like Media Trust’s London360 for a while, so when I heard that I was a reporter I was ecstatic.

“I am really passionate about giving a voice to individuals who need help to tell their story and I think Community Channel will be the perfect platform.”
