Haringey Police borough commander Victor Olisa has been shortlisted for a national award.
Chief Superintendent Dr Olisa is one of four people shortlisted in the “inspiring individual” category of the National Personal Safety Awards run by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, a safety charity.
The award aims to celebrate a community figure who “works tirelessly to ensure the personal safety of others”.
Other candidates on the shortlist include representatives from a Scottish anti-stalking charity and a group campaigning to prevent violence against sex workers.
