Police have arrested a man on suspicion of allowing a house in Wood Green to used for prostitution.
Officers from Woodside Safer Neighbourhoods Team become aware of a suspected brothel operating in Cumberland Road after complaints were made by neighbours.
The property was visited by officers who spoke with two female occupants.
The landlord of the premises was found and informed that the building, which he rents out, was being used as a brothel. He has now regained management of the property following the arrest.
Sergeant Jon Bosustow, from Woodside SNT, said: "My team and I will continue to take immediate action to close brothels wherever we find them on our ward.”
The arrested man remains in police custody.
