Man arrested as hit-and-run leaves woman in 'serious' condition
A man has been arrested in Tottenham after a hit-and-run crash during a car chase.
Police were chasing a black Ford Focus on Monday when it hit a woman, aged 27, near the junction of Shepherd's Hill and the A1 Archway Road.
The Focus did not stop, and the woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
She remains there receiving treatment for head and leg injuries. Her condition is serious but not believed life-threatening.
A 23-year-old man was arrested yesterday and remains in custody.
The Ford Focus was later found in Highgate.
