Transport for London has apologised for the temporary removal of a bus stop following complaints from an 83-year-old man.
Mr Myers said TfL should have put a temporary stop in place, but TfL says there is no safe place to do so.
Simon Horsley, TfL’s Operational Services Manager, said: “We apologise to passengers for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the bus stop on High Road, N15.
“The bus stop has been taken out of service while Ringway Jacobs undertake works on our behalf to replace the pavement in this area.
“The works are taking place over a significant area there is not a safe location to site a temporary stop and the nearest bus stop is within 150 metres.
“We are assured by Ringway Jacobs that the works will be completed by the end of the week and the bus stop can then be reopened.”
