Primary school children have been working to help the community with their harvest festival.
Pupils at Stroud Green Primary brought in food for a harvest donation to a church food-bank.
A special assembly was held last week to hand the food over to Father Patrick Henderson of Holy Trinity Church.
Angelique White, a teacher for Year 3, said the food had been collected over a number of weeks.
She said: “We tried to tie it into the curriculum, so we thought about where food comes from and we also thought about the community and how we could be helpful.
“The project was a huge success and we managed to give quite a big donation, so we’ll definitely be doing the same thing again next year”.
