Police have arrested five people and charged a 15-year-old boy for dangerous driving after a teenager was killed in a road accident.
Joe Walker, 17, died when his moped collided with a car in Seven Sisters Road on October 19.
The teenager was travelling north when his moped hit the back of a black Ford Focus near Moreton Road at around 1pm, and he was thrown into the path of an oncoming car.
Five people have now been arrested in connection with the incident, including a 16-year-old boy and two men, aged 20. All three have been bailed until January.
Police arrested another teenager, aged 17, this morning. He remains in custody.
The 15-year-old boy, who was arrested yesterday, is the only person to be charged in connection with Mr Walker’s death.
He is accused of causing death by dangerous driving, failure to stop, causing death while uninsured, and causing death while not having a driving licence.
He will appear at Highbury Corner Youth Court today.
