Police have arrested and charged a South Tottenham man following a series of violent robberies.
Officers were searching for Alan Denny, 25, in connection with incidents around the borough.
Police wanted to speak to Mr Denny about the robbery of a mini cab driver in Fladbury Road and of a 35-year-old man outside the Jolly Angler pub in Wood Green.
He was also wanted in connection with a theft from rooms in the Alton Towers Resort, Staffordshire, and the attempted robbery of a woman in west London in which the victim was threatened with a knife.
Mr Denny was charged yesterday with two counts of robbery, intimidation of witnesses, common assault, burglary of a non-dwelling, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, not having insurance, and criminal damage.
He appeared in Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court today.
