A teenage sea cadet delivered a copy of a military group’s Christmas song to Downing Street.

Adrian Jeffrey, 15, from Haringey, helped record “1914, The Carol of Christmas” by Military Voices.

Members of The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Portsmouth, the Spitfire Choir, and singers from the Royal Marines Cadets and Air Training Corps also sang on the track.

Mr Jeffrey said: "It’s an amazing opportunity to come down and deliver a copy of our Christmas single to the Prime Minister's office. We all hope Mr and Mrs Cameron like it."

Composed by Chris Eaton and Judd Field, proceeds from the single will go towards the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, and ABF The Soldier’s Charity.

The single has received over 50,000 hits on YouTube in the last week and is now at number 7 on iTunes and number 13 in the Amazon Christmas Chart.
