The Bernie Grants Arts Centre is planning to open a small boutique cinema.
The plans include using the multi-purpose space on the ground floor of the Hub Building to screen independent and world cinema, films of black origin and classics.
When configured as a cinema the space will have a capacity of 36 in armchair-style seating. The arts centre says it will consult with stakeholders on what should be screened and when.
