A teenager suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a lorry.
The 19-year-old was hit by the lorry on the junction of Rostrevor Avenue and High Road, Stamford Hill, yesterday at 3.20pm.
She is still receiving treatment at a north London hospital and is in a stable condition.
Detective Constable Clare Bevis, from the serious collision investigation unit at Alperton traffic garage, said: "This is a serious collision that happened on a busy road. It is very important we find out exactly how this occurred and the events leading up to it.
"If anyone saw the collision or knows anything about what happened please contact us."
No arrests have been made.
