A bus route is to have its frequency increased to meet rising passenger demand.
Route 444, which runs between Turnpike Lane and Chingford via the North Middlesex Hospital, Silver Street and Angel Road, will see buses increased from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes from Monday to Saturday.
The service will also see an increase in frequency during Sunday shopping hours from a bus every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes.
John Barry, TfL’s head of network development for buses, said: “Route 444 has seen an increase in passenger numbers. We are now increasing the frequency by 25 per cent - meeting not only current demand but allowing for future growth too.”
