  • The Edible Garden Show and Good Life Live

Tottenham Independent:

This year’s line up will provide entertainment for all those who love to grown their own. CBeebies’ popular Mr Bloom will be bringing all the fun of his fertile allotment to Ally Pally, and there will be plenty more for the kids such as baking bread in a plant pot, butter making, holding baby chicks, stories on the Village Green, a pop-up city farm and getting creative in the Family Zone. Big kids will enjoy the incredible line-up of gardening experts including James Wong, Pippa Greenwood, Paul Peacock and The Skinny Jeans Gardeners, brothers Lee and Dale Connelly, who will all be providing new ideas to novice gardeners and seasoned growers.

  • North London Literary Festival

The main festival will as usual take place at the Middlesex University in Hendon, but this year a fringe event has been added and will include pop-up readings from students at the Oxfam bookshops in Church Street, Enfield (March 23, 1-3pm) and Upper Street Islington (March 21, 4-6pm).

  • Edmonton Camera Club 70th Anniversary Exhibition

  • As the Mother of a Brown Boy

A tribute and warning based on the life of talented teenage Chickenshed member Mischa Niering who was killed during a failed jewellery heist. A hit in 2007 it has been brought back to the stage ten years after his death by a new cast of young performers.

  • Motown’s Greatest Hits

Now in its 13th successive year, this live show features songs from legendary artistes such as Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson Five, The Isley Brothers, Edwin Starr and more.
