People of all ages teamed up to give a street a much-needed spring clean.
Members of the campaign group We Love Myddleton Road got together to spruce up the road in Bowes Park on Saturday.
The group says it strives to improve the “much-loved yet sadly dilapidated” road to boost the economy in the area, protect community assets and improve the environment.
Efforts to clean the road were part of a nationwide Community Clear Up Day backed by the Department of Communities and Local Government, which encouraged people to lend a hand in keeping communities tidy.
Group chairman Toby Nation said: “By taking greater pride in our neighbourhood we can help make it a better place to work and live."
