HEVER Castle is celebrating the flowers of spring with a series of garden tours. The castle's gardening team will point out highlights such late snowdrops, fritillaries snakeskin along Sunday Walk and the rare black hyacinth, Midnight Mystic, in the Italian Garden.
Camelias and early quince blossoms feature on the Pompeiian Wall and Pergola Walk.
Head gardener Neil Miller will give talks and slide shows on the gardens' history.
Garden tours take place at 12.30pm and 2.30pm daily, from March 21 to March 25.
The oldest part of Hever Castle dates back to 1270.
In the 16th Century it was the childhood home of Henry VIII's fourth wife, Anne Boleyn.
The house and gardens were restored in the early 20th Century by the Astor family.
