Fire crews break into fourth floor flat to rescue woman from blaze
More than twenty firefighters rescued a woman from a fire in a multi-storey block of flats.
The London Fire Brigade were called at 8.10pm last night to reports of the blaze in Partridge Way, Wood Green.
They broke open the door of a fourth floor flat in the 15-storey block of flats and rescued the woman.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters put the fire out in less than an hour.
The woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
