More than seventy cadets were joined by pipers in a parade to mark Armed Forces Day.
The sea, air, marine, army and police cadets marched from the Scouts Park in Bounds Green to the Civic Centre in High Road, Wood Green yesterday.
The parade in honour of Armed Forces Day was led by the Metropolitan Police Emerald Pipes and Drums.
When the marchers arrived at the Civic Centre they were met by mayor of Haringey Councillor Jennifer Mann, who announced the winner of the cadets’ inter group skills competition.
Representative deputy lieutenant for Haringey Peter Baker said: "This is a very special weekend for us here in Haringey, not only because we are marking Armed Forces Weekend but because we are able to celebrate the tremendous contribution of the many uniformed youth organisations in the borough.
“I thank both the young people and their adult leaders."
After inspection, Haringey Volunteer Police Cadets were announced as the 2015 Competition winners and the Mayor presented them with their trophy and medals.
