This weekend is the tenth anniversary of Wireless festival and to celebrate they’re having a special birthday concert in Finsbury Park.

Below, the Tottenham and Wood Green Independent lists how the festival could affect you.

NUMBERS: A total of 135,000 people are due to attend the concert over Friday, Saturday and Sunday so expect human traffic to increase significantly around the park.

NOISE: Sound preparation, involving a full volume test, will begin at 3pm this Thursday in five-minute bursts for two hours followed by further tests until 6pm.

Further potential sound checks will takes place between 10am to 11am on each day before the concert gets going.

Music begins at 1.30pm each day, finishing at 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday and at 10pm on Sunday.

ROAD CLOSURES: Seven Sisters Road (between Hornsey Road and Green Lanes) and Stroud Green Road (between Seven Sisters Road and Tollington Park / Upper Tollington Park) will be closed between 10pm and 11.30pm on Friday & Saturday and 9.30pm to 11pm on Sunday.

This means there will be NO ACCESS across or into Seven Sisters Road. If these road closures affect access to your property, event marshalls will be on hand to assist.

PARKING: There will be additional parking restrictions prohibiting stopping, waiting and loading in Stroud Green Road, Endymion Road, Station Place, Rock Street and Seven Sisters Road.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Tube services will also be affected with Finsbury Park and Manor House stations facing heavy congestion over the weekend as they deal with the numbers of concert goers.

 Road closures mean buses will be diverted.

URINATING: As per the requests of households, extra toilets have been laid on around the park and in surrounding residential streets.

Teams will clean Seven Sisters Road and other major roads throughout every day of the festival and at night after the event has finished.
