Cash was stolen after an armed man wearing a balaclava stormed a bookmakers this morning.
Police were called at 9.20am this morning, Monday, August 17 to reports of an armed robbery at the Coral bookmaker in Green Lanes, Harringay.
Officers and specialist armed officers attended but the suspect, believed to be a man wearing dark clothing and a balaclava, had fled the scene.
A quantity of cash was stolen during the robbery, but no shots were fired and there are no reported injuries.
Detectives from the Flying Squad are investigating.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
