Tickets for a concert marking the centenary of the Internee Orchestra are now on sale.

Alexander Palace is marking the anniversary of the Internee Orchestra, which formed during the First World War, with a special concert performed by Haringey Young Musicians.

The concert, supported by members of the BBC Concert Orchestra in the Theatre, will take place on Saturday, September 19.

Guests will discover what life was like for internees at Alexandra Palace, and experience music composed by the Internee Orchestra during that time, including the ‘Alexandra Palace Ragtime’, written by Anton Wust.

Tickets are free, as the concert is funded by the Mayor’s Music Fund.
