Stolen cars seized in Tottenham

Comments (0)Five stolen cars worth more than £30,000 each were seized during raids at a number of Tottenham industrial estates last week.
A Range Rover and four Mercedes Benzs, all recently stolen from London and the home counties, were found by police at the units in Leeside Road during searches to combat handlers of high-value stolen cars.
A number of other stolen cars were found during the search on February 20.
Five men aged between 27 and 36 were arrested at the scene.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Jordan Ford, of Haringey Motor Vehicle Squad said: "This appeared to be a highly organised team exporting stolen cars abroad. Haringey Motor Vehicle Squad have smashed this criminal operation."
