Haringey is getting ready to welcome a new borough commander.
David Grant, the current Redbridge police borough commander, is due to fill the post over the next few weeks.
He will take over from Acting Borough Commander Richard Wood, who was filling in for the newly-appointed East Area Link Commander, Simon O'Brien, overseeing 11 boroughs in North and East London, including Haringey.
Richard Wood said: "I am pleased to inform you that Chief Superintendent David Grant has been appointed as the Borough Commander for Haringey. Mr Grant is an experienced police officer who is currently the borough commander at Redbridge.
"It has been a privilege to act as borough commander and I look forward to supporting Mr Grant in our mission to make Haringey a safer place to live and work."
His official start date is yet to be confirmed.
