A WOOD GREEN secondary school is opening its doors this afternoon for a summer barbecue to help raise money for its sister school in South Africa.
Woodside High School, in White Hart Lane, has organised an afternoon of entertainment mixed with traditional fair games and activities such as face paining, and balloon modelling.
Parents can also take advantage of a stall offering relaxing shoulder massages.
All profits will be donated to the Vuwani Secondary School in South Africa.
The fair, entitled Around the World, seems a fitting title for a school like Woodside where its pupils speak more than 60 languages combined.
The event runs between 3.20pm and 5pm and admission is free.
