Teenager 'stable in hospital' after Tottenham stabbing

A TEENAGER stabbed in Tottenham on Monday night is recovering well in hospital.

The 18-year-old, who has not been named by police, was attacked in Selby Road, off White Hart Lane, by a group of people wearing hoodies at around 11.10pm.

He was taken to an east London hospital in serious condition but his injuries are neither life-threating nor life-changing, Haringey police said.

Haringey CID are investigating the stabbing but no arrests have been made.

Detectives are appealing for those with information to come forward.

The suspects were reported as jumping on a W3 bus near the scene and heading towards High Road, Tottenham.

Early witness reports suggested the bus was heading towards Wood Green but police said this is not the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call Haringey CID on 020 8345 0712. To remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
