There were smiles, flowers and a big band to accompany the running of the nudes', as they charged through the streets of Pamplona, Spain, two days before the Running of the Bulls.
Crouch End resident Deborah Espect joined an estimated 600 people in the run, organised by animal rights campaign group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
Supporters ran through the streets wearing nothing but a red scarf, plastic horns, white underwear and protest signs against the city's famous running of the bulls and bull fighting event, which ends with the bulls being slaughtered.
A PETA spokeswoman said it was planned as a festive alternative to the brutality of the bull fighting.
"It was a fantastic event, there was over 600 people, most of them wearing nothing more than thongs," she said. "They were throwing beads, throwing flowers, they had great responses, there was a band as well to keep it festive."
