IMAGES showing two armed robbers who shot a Green Lanes shopkeeper have been released by police.
Police are hunting the pair who attempted to rob Rainbow Food and Wines, in Wood Green, on Wednesday, February 17.
Though the pair left empty-handed, they shot one of the shop workers in the neck at close range before fleeing to Hackney on a motorcycle where they robbed an off licence.
The victim spent days in hospital recovering from the blast.
Both suspects, who wore helmets during the robbery, are described as black, and were wearing puffa jackets, blue jeans and black gloves.
The first suspect, who had a black self-loading pistol, was also wearing a black helmet with a white logo above the visor.
The second had a black and silver "Arai" branded helmet.
No arrests have been made in either investigation.
Detective Constable Dawn Bolitho said: "The victim of the initial robbery was lucky to escape with his life.
"The willingness of the suspects to use violence illustrates their callous nature and makes it imperative we hold them responsible for their actions."
