A MAN who sued Haringey Council after claiming he tripped on a Muswell Hill pavement has been charged with fraud.
Nathan Williams, 38, alleged he tripped and hurt his knee as he walked in Muswell Hill Road, in February 2008.
Mr Williams, of Dean Street, west London, also won compensation from local authorities, including Hackney, Lewisham and Tower Hamlets, over a 17-month period citing face, knee, foot and groin injuries.
Following an investigation the Soho resident was charged with eight counts of fraud.
He is expected to appear before City of Westminster magistrates on September 1.
