AN army of workers lent their superior spring cleaning skills to freshen up a Muswell Hill school in preparation for term time.
Armed with their buckets, brooms, dusters and polish the team of eight from Principle Cleaning Services in The Campsbourne, Hornsey, spent hours freshening up the London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
Doug Cooke, the firm's CEO and a trustee of the centre, said: "As long-standing supporters of the charity, we knew major building works were taking place at the school over the summer holidays to adapt a bathroom area and build ramps to the playground.
"Our company likes to help wherever possible so we are donating our time to give each classroom, the kitchen and hallways a thorough clean so they are dust free."
Marc Crank, CEO at the centre, said of the deep clean last Thursday and Friday: "We are indebted to Doug Cooke and everyone at Principle Cleaning Services.
"Knowing the school will be clean as a whistle for when the children return is amazing. We are very grateful for generous support."
